Role Objective

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Industrial Automation Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team in Thrissur. In this role, you will be a technical cornerstone of our Engineering Design vertical, leading high-stakes automation projects that integrate traditional control systems with modern AI tools and interactive data dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Lead the design and engineering of robust control systems, including PLC logic, SCADA development, and electrical panel design.

• IIoT & Digital Integration: Collaborate with our IT and AI teams to implement Industry 4.0 solutions, ensuring shop-floor data is seamlessly integrated into interactive dashboards for real-time business intelligence.

• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and oversee the technical execution of projects to ensure they meet Gravity’s standards of “Professional Excellence.”

• Consultative Approach: Partner with clients to identify operational bottlenecks and design automated solutions that drive “Sustainable Growth.”

• Testing & Commissioning: Execute and supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), ensuring 100% compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

• Experience: 7–10 years in industrial automation, systems integration, or plant engineering.

• Core Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level programming in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).

  • Advanced SCADA/HMI development (Ignition, FactoryTalk, or WinCC).

  • Strong understanding of Industrial Networking (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).

  • Experience with Motion Control, VFDs, and Sensor integration.

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams.
